Abstract:Single crystals of pure triglycine sulfate (TGS) and yttrium-acetate (0.5 mol%)-doped triglycine sulfate (YTGS) crystals are synthesized and the crystals are grown from aqueous solution by slow evaporation solution growth method. The grown crystals are subjected to single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction studies to identify the morphology and structure. Both the grown crystals are packed in a monoclinic crystal system and the lattice parameters of YTGS crystal are a = 9.138 Å, b = 12.72 Å, and c = 5.728 Å,… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
