Physicochemical characterization and antibacterial activities of silver nanoparticles prepared by amidated low-methoxyl pectin

Abstract

The modification of pectin through amidation and the preparation of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) with excellent antibacterial properties were achieved. The antibacterial mechanism was investigated at the cellular level.
