Abstract:Quercetin is a bioactive flavonoid that possesses anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and osteoarthritic properties. Nevertheless, quercetin does possess several limitations, including poor solubility, degradation in the gastrointestinal tract, and inadequate transdermal absorption.
