Physicochemical Properties of Silicate Based Biomaterials

Abstract: Aim: The purpose of this study was to compare solubility, pH, calcium ion release and setting time of Biodentine, Bioaggregate, and Bioactive glass. Materials and Methods: For the weight loss, pH changes and calcium ions release, the tested specimens were immersed in distilled water. The evaluations were performed at 1h, 24h and 7 d.
