Abstract: The disc diffusion method, MIC and MBC were used to test the antibacterial activity of methanol, aqueous, ethyl acetate extract and essential oils of Cymbopogon citratus leaves, and Syzygium jambolanum seeds against Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus, which were isolated from herbal medicines.
