“…A species recently described as having bisexual flowers, belonging to a genus traditionally considered monoecious or dioecious (Picrasma pauciflora A. Noa & P.A. González), was reported by Noa- Monzón et al (2019). In the original description of Picrasma, Blume (1825) characterized the species as hermaphroditic or monoecious by abortion, and Shu (2008) mentioned polygamy in this genus in the Flora of China.…”
