Piezoelectromagnetic smart structures

Abstract: A piezoelectromagnetic medium is formed by bonding piezoelectric and magnetostrictive layers on tapered beams. Piezoelectromagnetic materials are often utilized as intelligent media in the design of distributed sensors and actuators of smart structures.
