Abstract:The article focuses on a chancel screen post which was discovered in the ground-floor hallway of the Episcopal Palace at Zadar in 1970. It is not known how it reached this location. The post cannot be attributed to a specific building within the episcopal complex – consisting of the Cathedral, the church of St Donatus and other liturgical spaces – with certainty.
