Abstract: ObjectiveAn unwanted side effect associated with epidural analgesia is the reduction in blood pressure (BP) due to the sympathetic blockade. This study evaluated the hemodynamic effects of adding different epinephrine concentrations to epidurally injected local anesthetic solution to counteract sympathectomy.
