Abstract:In this paper, we have investigated an anisotropic homogeneous plane symmetric cosmological micro-model in the presence of massless scalar field in modified theory of Einstein's general relativity. Some interesting physical and geometrical aspects of the model together with singularity in the model are discussed. Further, it is shown that this theory is valid and leads to Ein?stein's theory as the coupling parameter ? ?>? 0 in micro (i.e. quantum) level in general.
“…It can be done by observing the behavior of both bodies of degenerate matter and photons. Pimentel (1985) has presented the Robertson Walker solutions in self-creation theory of gravitation by using power law relation between the expansion factor of the universe and the scalar field. Reddy and Venkateswarlu (1989) have obtained spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-VI 0 cosmological models in Barber's self-creation theory of gravitation in both vacuum as well as in presence of perfect fluid with pressure equal to energy density.…”

“…Pradhan and Pandey (2003) explored some of the properties of Bianchi type-I anisotropic magnetized cosmological models with varying cosmological constant. Panigrahi and Sahu (2003) further discussed plane symmetric cosmological micro model in the modified theory of gravitation. Pradhan and Pandey (2004) have studied bulk viscous cosmological models in Barber's second selfcreation theory.…”
We have investigated Bianchi type-I cosmological model in the presence of magnetized field with disordered radiation in Barber's second self-creation theory of gravitation. To obtain exact solution we assume that the component σ 1 1 of shear tensor (σ j i ) is proportional to expansion (θ ). Some geometrical and physical properties of the model have also been discussed.

“…Mohanty et al [14] have obtained a micro and macro cosmological models in the presence of massless scalar field interacted with perfect fluid. Panigrahi and Sahu [15][16][17] have also obtained plane symmetric inhomogeneous cosmological micro and macro models and plane symmetric mesonic stiff fluid models in Barber's second theory of gravitation.…”
Axially symmetric Bianchi type-I cosmological micro model is obtained in Barber's (Gen. Relativ. Gravit. 14:117, 1982) modified theory of general relativity. Some properties of the model are discussed.
“…Also the mass less scalar field in relativistic mechanics yields some significant results regarding both the singularities involved and Mach's principle. Panigrahi and Sahu [11] studied a micro and macro cosmological model in the presence of mass less scalar field interacted with the perfect fluid.…”
