Plant Growth Promotion and Antagonistic Activities Against Anthracnose of Burkholderia sp. LPN-2 Strain

Abstract: A rhizobacterium LPN-2, which showed strong antifungal activity and auxin producing ability, was isolated from a farmland in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Based on analysis of the 16S rDNA sequence, strain LPN-2 was identified as a novel strain of Burkholderia and was designated as Burkholderia sp. LPN-2.
