Platelet Counts and Indices Are Altered in Pre-Eclampsia

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Endothelial damage and activation of platelets leading to their increased consumption and increase in production of young platelets by bone marrow is the most common pathophysiology of pre-eclampsia.
