Abstract:Connective tissue diseases (CTD) are heterogeneous, immune-mediated inflammatory disorders often presenting with multiorgan involvement. With the advent of high-resolution computed tomography, CTD-related pleuritis—pleural thickening and effusion—is now increasingly recognized early in the disease trajectory.
