Abstract:Subarachnoid haemorrhage constitutes a neurological emergency. In most cases the diagnosis is easy to establish by cerebral computed tomography or cerebrospinal fluid tap. However, in rare cases verification of the diagnosis is more difficult and a residual uncertainty remains.
