Pneumatics in Italy

Abstract

Pneumaticsin Italy is analysed with reference both to its commercial aspects and as regards the more scientific and technological issues connected with the development of pneumatic components and devices.In the first section, the field of pneumatics is compared with that of hydraulics and then analyzed in greater detail, focussing on five product sectors.The second section provides a discussion of development trends in pneumatics, reviewing innovative products developed by Italian manufacturers and presenting the most recent research activities.
