“…While the aforementioned works are promising for polaritonic devices in principle, a complication in applying the aforementioned phenomena is that they have been found under di↵erent conditions in di↵erent parameter ranges. Here, we consider whether solitons, stable structures, and evolving patterns can co-exist under the same conditions, together with the analogues of a variety of other solitonrelated structures studied separately in the literature, including: oscillating solitons and patterns [106,218,317]; guns [318] and soliton trains [99,103,195]; soliton explosions [102]; and backward radiation emitting solitons [196]. We also aim for polariton solitons and related structures to exist indefinitely [100,319], beyond the finite polariton lifetime, and survive in the presence of noise and disorder.…”
