Polarization multiplexed electromagnetically induced transparency metasurface based on VO2 with high-performance sensing application

Abstract: A vanadium dioxide (VO2) based dielectric metasurface is proposed to realize polarization multiplexed electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) effect with tunability. In the near-infrared regime, distinct transparency windows with high transmission intensity and quality factor (Q-factor) can be observed under the excitation of two orthogonal polarized lights.
