Abstract: Furosemide (4-chloro-2-(furan-2-ylmethylamino)-5-sulfamoyl benzoic acid) is a widely used, FDA-approved drug prescribed for several symptoms associated with heart, kidney, liver failure, or chronic high blood pressure.
