Abstract:Polyarteritis nodosa is a systemic disease which affects the small to medium-sized muscular arteries. Sudden or progressive, bilateral hearing loss is a presenting otologic manifestation. To date, no case of cochlear implantation in patients with polyarteritis nodosa has been reported.
