Polymeric Active Media for Generating Laser Radiation

Abstract: An urgent direction in quantum electronics is the development of lasers with a retunable radiation frequency in the visible range, which have been widely used to solve research and practical problems. The most readily available sources of frequency-retunable light are dye lasers in which liquid solutions of organic dyes are often used as the active medium [1, 2].
