[ 38 ] At pH 7.4 and 5.5, we observed 3% and 2.5% of diDHA release from PGA–diDHA 2.2 and 5% and 4.5% release of diDHA from PGA–diDHA 6.4 at 72 h, respectively. In the case of PGA–diDHA 2.2 at pH 7.4 and 5.5, we observed the sustained release of diDHA over the first 24 h of incubation after an initial “burst” diDHA release, which was then followed by increased release up to 72 h.
