Polytriphenylene Dendrimers: A Unique Design for Blue‐Light‐Emitting Materials

Abstract: Into the blue: A unique family of polytriphenylene dendrimers (see picture) that emit blue light with high photoluminescence quantum yield were synthesized. The triphenylene units are twisted out‐of‐plane, and the highly stiff dendritic backbones prevent intermolecular fluorescence quenching.
