Population inversion X-ray Laser Oscillator at LCLS

Abstract: We present design and characteristics of a population inversion X-ray laser oscillator (XLO) at LCLS. We report on first experiments and future plans towards XLO demonstration. We also discuss necessary upgrades to LCLS for optimized XLO performance.
