Abstract:The paper considers the capabilities of endovascular procedures in the neoadjuvant treatment of breast cancer. Intra-arterial polychemotherapy is compared with the systemic administration of cytostatics. It is shown that intra-arterial polychemotherapy may be successfully used as part of combination treatment for locally advanced, primary inoperable breast cancer and when planning organ-sparing surgery for its early stage.
