Abstract:The possible bound nuclei beyond the two-neutron drip line in the 50 Z 70 region are investigated by using the deformed relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov theory in continuum (DRHBc)with the density functional PC-PK1. Bound nuclei beyond the drip line of 56 Ba, 58 Ce, 62 Sm, 64 Gd and 66 Dy are predicted, forming peninsulas of stability in the nuclear landscape. Near these peninsulas, there are several multi-neutron emitters which are stable against two-neutron emission but unstable against multi-neutron emission… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
