Possible Double Magnetic Phase Transition in Dy5CuPb3.

Abstract: 5 CuPb 3 . -The magnetic and transport properties of the title compound are characterized by magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, magnetoresistance, and thermoelectric power measurements. The compound crystallizes in the hexagonal space group P63/mcm (Hf5CuSn3-type structure). It probably undergoes two successive magnetic transitions at TC = 45 and T N = 6.5 K.
