“…Our study demonstrated a faster resolution of COVID-19 symptoms among participants enrolled in the VCO group. Early diminishment of symptoms is beneficial, especially since studies have shown that COVID-19 symptoms can last from 20 days ( 27 ) to 83 days ( 28 ) , which can greatly affect an individual’s quality of life. The anti-inflammatory properties of VCO and its ability to modulate the immune system may have been the main reason behind the early resolution of the participants’ symptoms, especially when fever, which is one of the main symptoms of COVID-19, is a clinical hallmark of inflammation ( 10 ) .…”
