Poster 327 The Tribulations, Trials, and Triumphs of Treating and Rehabilitating Hemiballismus: A Case Report

Abstract: A 26-year-old woman presenting to acute care hospital with new-onset seizures and was discharged home on Keppra with neurology follow-up. She re-presented to the acute care hospital with psychotic behaviors including agitation, auditory hallucinations, and catatonia. A lumbar puncture demonstrated encephalitis and she received IV steroids and IVIG. She was transferred to a tertiary care center for a whole-body PET scan which was inconclusive for malignancy.
