Abstract:BACKGROUNDPosterior Capsular Opacification is the most frequent complication of cataract surgery. There are few studies that determine the changes in the lens surfaces with the posterior capsular changes. The objectives of the present study were to report intraocular lens surface changes and posterior capsular changes after extracapsular cataract extraction with posterior chamber intra-ocular lens (ECCE-PCIOL) implantation surgeries, and to determine the factors influencing the anterior surface changes.
