Abstract:Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multisystem autoimmune disorder known to affect the nervous system by direct neuronal damage, vasculitis, or pathologic mechanisms indirectly induced by immune mechanisms related to the production and deposition of immune complexes.
