Postoperative complications for the new Chinese and imported bioprosthetic surgical valves replacement

Abstract: This study assessed structural valve degeneration (SVD) clinical difference of BalMedic and Edward bioprosthetic valves in Zhuzhou areas, Hunan province, China, in the past 6 years. From August 2016 to August 2022, Chinese bioprosthetic valves were implanted in 77 patients while imported valves were implanted in 64 patients, to compare their postoperative SVD.
