Potato Minituber Production Under Hydroponic Sand Culture

Abstract: Isolation and use of sterile growing media are two important factors in hydroponic production of healthy potato mini-tubers. Sand can be disinfected by solarization, while organic growing media may harbor some pathogenic agents.
