Potential use of the Two-Factor Model of Affect as a tool for coding observations of emotion states

Abstract: In this paper I describe my use of the Two-Factor Model of Affect as a tool for assessing the emotion states of clients through observations made by support workers. This approach promises to have significant advantages, in particular the direct estimation of arousal levels and greater reliability in the judgements of support workers.
