Abstract:The axial component of cutting force and torque at the series-parallel scheme of cutting by thecombined axial tool are investigated. The influence of the number of stages of the combined axial toolon the total power loads and the nature of their change with increasing number of simultaneouslyworking stages of the tool is studied. The conclusion about the expedient quantity of simultaneouslyworking stages of the combined axial tool is made
