Practical Transient State Assessment for Induction Motors Starting in Medium Voltage Networks

Abstract: This paper presents a modelling and experimental verification system for a group of induction motors during starting in medium voltage networks including its effects on other nearby running units in different operating conditions. The simulation model is based on a real-life case study which is an agricultural drain pump station.
