Precision Measurements and Prospects with Kaons at CERN
Zdenko Hives
Abstract:The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS collected the world's largest dataset of charged kaon decays during 2016-2018. The dataset was used for the most precise measurement of the branching fraction of the ultra-rare decay πΎ + β π + π Ξ½. In this proceedings, the NA62 experiment reports recent results from analyses of decays πΎ + β π 0 π + ππΎ (πΎ π3πΎ ), πΎ + β π + π + π β (πΎ π ππ ) and πΎ + β π + πΎπΎ (πΎ ππΎπΎ ). The radiative πΎ π3πΎ decay has a data sample of O (100π) candidates with sub-perc… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citationsβcitations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
