Predicting Erosion Damage in a Centrifugal Fan

Abstract: Erosion damage can occur in fans and blowers during industrial processes, cooling, and mine ventilation. This study focuses on investigating erosion caused by particulate air flows in a centrifugal fan with forward-inclined blades. This type of fan is particularly vulnerable to erosion due to its radial flow component and flow recirculation.
