Prediction of Surface Roughness for Periodic End Mill Tool Holder

Abstract: This study presents a new approach of localization for an elastic periodic cutting tool holder of milling machine. The paper presents a study of the factorial design application to optimize surface quality in end milling operation. Maintaining good surface quality usually involves additional manufacturing cost or loss of productivity.
