Abstract:Purple nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus L.) is one of the most problematic turfgrass weeds due to an elevated growth rate, aggressive rhizomes, and prolific tuber production. Currently, limited preemergence herbicide options exist for the control of C. rotundus.
