Prehistoric Antigorite Procurement in Cyprus

Abstract: The Canadian Pulaipaphos Survey Project in the Paphos district of south-western Cyprus investigated extensive areas of the Esouzas, Xero, and Dhiarizos River valieys, locating hundreds of archaeological sites spanning the nine millennia f r o m the aceramic Neolithic period to the recent era (Rupp et al. 1984 and1986).
