Preliminary remarks on the nominal phrase in Cape Verdean: The semantics of bare nouns cross-linguistically

Abstract: In this paper, we offer some preliminary remarks on the syntax-semantics of the nominal system in Cape Verdean (CV) in comparison to English, with the aim of having a better understanding of Number Neutral Languages (Chierchia 2010;.
