Abstract:Objective: Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii (Roxb.)) essential oil has volatile active compounds, therefore, it requires modification of encapsulation to obtain optimum potency. This study investigated the relationship between various alginate concentrations in microencapsulation against the quality of the formula and antibacterial activity.
