Preparation, characterization, molecular docking and in vitro evaluation of two novel morin hydrate/CD inclusion complexes

Abstract: Two novel water-soluble morin hydrate (MH) complexes, composed of a hydrophobic MH core and hydrophilic cyclodextrin shell, were prepared and systematically investigated in both aqueous solution and the solid state by means of UV-Vis spectroscopy, 1 H NMR, 2D NMR (ROESY), SEM, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, and XRD analysis. The characterization information resulting from these investigations revealed that the MH/cyclodextrin inclusion complexes formed by the MH with CD in 1:1 stoichiometry, and demonstrated satisfactory wa… Show more

“…The modification of some characteristics bands of drug is indicative that only that part of drug has been complexed to cyclodextrin. However, bands related to noncomplex part remain unchanged . In spectra of dexibuprofen‐loaded HPβCD hybrid nanogels (Figure d), shifting of some pronounced bands of dexibuprofen was observed and tabulated in Table .…”

“…The complexation could be assessed by variations in bands positions, as well as their reduction and disappearance. [40] In spectra of dexibuprofen-loaded HPβCD hybrid nanogels (Figure 5d), shifting of some pronounced bands of dexibuprofen was observed and tabulated in Table 1. However, bands related to noncomplex part remain unchanged.…”
