Abstract:Herein, a cationic hydrogel microsphere (CHMS) was prepared by inverse suspension polymerization and freeze‐drying and was applied to the adsorptive removal of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) from aqueous solution. Morphological characterization shows that there are lots of folds and pores on the surface of CHMS with a unique petal‐like appearance.
