Preparation of hydrogels based on poplar cellulose and their removal efficiency of Cd(II) from aqueous solutions

Abstract: Industrial heavy metal-contaminated wastewater is one of the main water pollution problems. Adsorbents are a promising method for the removal of heavy metal contaminants.
