Pressure Effects on the Physical and Magnetic Properties of MoSr2YCu2O8-δOxide Superconductor

Abstract: We investigated the pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc of the MoSr2YCu2O 8−δ compound (Mo1212). Superconducting Mo1212 samples were synthesized by a solid-state reaction with multiple annealing processes. Tc-onset of Mo1212 occurred at approximately 40 K at ambient pressure. The pressure dependence of Tc was obtained as 3.3 K/GPa at least up to 8.7 GPa.
