Pretreatment With Intravenous Ascorbic Acid Preserves Endothelial Function During Acute Hyperglycaemia (R1)

Abstract: 1. Acute hyperglycaemia may impair endothelial function. Ascorbic acid (AA), administered intra-arterially, has been reported to improve endothelium-dependent vasodilatation during a forearm hyperglycaemic clamp.
