Abstract: Purpose: Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a worldwide distributed pathogen that may cause serious complications in patients with hematological diseases. This study aimed to serologically characterize the CMV infection in patients suffering from hematological diseases in Amazonas, Brazil.
