Prevalence studies in rheumatology: the methodology of the Chiavari study

Abstract: Objectives: Goals of epidemiological studies are the description of the measures of frequency of diseases, the attempt to clarify possible etiopathogenic mechanisms, and the provision of data to support health policy decisions.
