Connection of the publication with planned research works. This work is a fragment of the SRW "State of dental health and its correction based on a systematic analysis of clinical and laboratory, radiological, morphological, functional, aesthetic parameters in people of different ages", state registration number 0120U002143. Introduction.Dental caries and its prevention remain an urgent problem of modern dentistry since the prevalence of Dental caries remains the most common disease of the oral cavity. The analysis of literary sources proves that the incidence of dental caries in children burdened with somatic pathology is significantly higher than in healthy children. Domestic studies of recent years testify to the growth of pathology of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue in children. Therefore, the goal of our study was to develop a treatment-prophylactic complex and clinical evaluation of its effectiveness in this pathology. For this purpose, 60 children aged 5-6 years were under observation, comprised of two main and two control groups. The preventive complex included 3 stages: hygienic education and upbringing of children and their parents, which was carried out in preschools at "Dental Health Lessons"; professional oral hygiene (performed 2 times a year, and in children with unsatisfactory oral hygiene 2-3 times a year); a differentiated approach to the selection of exogenous caries prevention means (deep fluoridation of all teeth was carried out twice a year, "Tooth Mouth" was used at home in courses of 10 days; children with unsatisfactory oral hygiene and with UCTD were carried out 3-4 times a year). In cooperation with a pediatrician, the children's nutrition was corrected. The children of the control groups were given preventive measures and sanitation of the oral cavity following local protocols for the provision of medical care. Indicators of caries intensity, increase in intensity, reduction of increase in caries intensity evaluated the effectiveness of preventive measures. Therefore, after two years of using the preventive complex, the indicators of the reduction of the increase in caries intensity increased, which indicates the effectiveness of the use of this complex in children with MSS pathology and MSS pathology against the background of UCTD, regarding the course of the carious process by creating favorable conditions for enamel maturation.

In press Biofilm is a predominant growth form of a greater number of microorganisms in the oral cavity that has the differences in physiology and genetics compared to planktonic forms. It requires a review of methods of the diagnostics and management of patients with the diseases caused by dental biofilms. The literature review was conducted with the aim of summarizing modern scientific information related to the control of its formation and evaluation of means for disorganization and regulation that are used in clinical dentistry. Based on the results of these studies a close relationship between the level of hygiene and the microbiological state of the oral cavity has been justified. Carrying out individual and professional hygiene is an important component in the comprehensive treatment of dental patients. It has been proven that the pathogenicity of the dental biofilm can be significantly reduced by breaking the integrity of its structure and restoring the normal microflora with the help of high-quality professional hygiene. But long-term uncontrolled use of personal hygiene products can cause some changes in the quality of the microbiome of the oral cavity. Modern research is aimed at disorganization of the biofilm matrix by pharmaceutical and non-pharmacological means. But its destruction can lead to the release of living microorganisms and the dissemination of the pathogen. The presented results of the use of different groups of means for normalizing the microflora of the oral cavity have both advantages and disadvantages that requires further discussion. Qualitative control over the development of dental biofilm will permit to anticipate the course of teeth diseases and periodontal tissues, and objectively assess the effectiveness of the prescribed treatment. Conducting a microbiological study of the biocenosis of the oral cavity will be the basis for choosing personal hygiene products and implementing timely measures. All this will further contribute to increase in the efficiency of prevention and management of pathology of the teeth. Keywords: microorganisms, оral cavity, biofilm, hygiene.
